Zypp Electric has announced the appointment of Manoj Kohli as Senior Advisor. The move comes as Zypp Electric prepares to scale its operations, expand into new markets and work towards its vision of an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the next 12-24 months.

Manoj Kohli brings over 45 years of experience across telecom, renewable energy, electric vehicles, and AI-driven technologies. His addition to Zypp Electric’s team underscores the company’s ambition to revolutionise sustainable last-mile logistics in India while achieving operational and financial milestones. Kohli has held leadership positions at Bharti Airtel, SoftBank India, and SB Energy, and has been instrumental in scaling global businesses to new heights.

During his tenure as Managing Director and CEO of Bharti Airtel, Kohli spearheaded the company’s expansion to 20 countries across Asia and Africa, growing its customer base to over 400 million and establishing Airtel as the world’s third-largest telecom operator. At SB Energy, his leadership helped achieve over 7GW of renewable energy capacity in India and the United States, strengthening the green energy sector. Most recently, Kohli served as the Country Head of SoftBank India, overseeing investments worth $15 billion across 25 AI-led portfolio companies, including names such as OLA, Swiggy, OYO, Meesho, and Delhivery. His expertise in building scalable business models and enabling companies to prepare for IPOs will prove invaluable as Zypp Electric accelerates its expansion plans.

The company has completed 20.5 million deliveries for quick commerce services with a cumulative total of 78 million deliveries across all segments. Kohli’s expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing Zypp Electric’s strategic initiatives, enabling the company to expand its operations into new markets.
