ZF Launches SCALAR Digital Fleet Platform, Highlights Aftermarket Advancements

ZF has unveiled its next-generation digital fleet management platform, SCALAR, at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Designed to transform commercial fleet operations in India, SCALAR leverages advanced technology to optimize efficiency, safety, and sustainability for both passenger and cargo transport.

Speaking at the launch, P Kaniappan, Managing Director of ZF Commercial Vehicles Control Systems India Ltd., emphasized the platform’s significance. “SCALAR is the industry’s first comprehensive fleet orchestration solution tailored to India’s unique needs. With this launch, ZF reaffirms its commitment to pioneering digital solutions that drive the future of mobility,” he said.

Van Raemdonck Hjalmar, Head of Digital Solutions Business at ZF Group, added, “SCALAR’s advanced capabilities enhance fleet productivity while reducing operational costs. Its cutting-edge features will evolve with emerging trends, making transportation smarter, safer, and more sustainable for all.”

Transforming Fleet Operations

SCALAR employs artificial intelligence and self-learning algorithms to analyze historical data, optimize fleet planning, routing, and dispatching. It offers real-time data and predictive analytics, enabling fleet managers to select fuel-efficient routes, reduce environmental impact, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

The platform supports fleets with combustion engines, electric vehicles, or mixed configurations. It also enhances reliability through actionable insights into vehicle performance, predictive maintenance, and driver behavior, helping to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

ZF Aftermarket Expands Reach With TRW Brake Pads

At the expo, ZF Aftermarket announced a significant milestone: its TRW Brake Pads now cover 90% of the Indian vehicle parc. This achievement reflects a steady expansion in product coverage, up from 80% in 2023 to 90% in 2024, thanks to the addition of 50 new part numbers.

Showcasing its True Originals Brake Pads and advancements in automotive safety, ZF Aftermarket highlighted its commitment to safety and convenience for Indian motorists.
