ZF Group, a global leader in driveline, chassis, and safety technology, has inaugurated India’s first ZF [pro]Tech plus workshop in New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to advancing automotive expertise and service quality in the country.

The workshop, part of ZF’s global ZF [pro]Tech network, was officially launched by Markus Wittig, Global Head of Business Line Passenger Car, ZF Aftermarket, and Vijay Khorgade, Head of Business Line Passenger Car IMEA. Rolly Chadha, Head of European Motor Works and owner of the newly launched workshop, led the inaugural celebration.

The ZF [pro]Tech plus concept takes this further by offering on-site support, advanced training programs, and access to ZF’s cutting-edge automotive solutions.

Wittig said, “I am very pleased with the launch of India’s first ZF [pro]Tech plus workshop. This reiterates our commitment and ambition in the Indian market. With this facility, we will provide unparalleled support to our workshop partners, equipping them to meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry.”

According to the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), India’s automotive aftermarket grew 10% in FY 2024, reaching $11.3 billion, driven by a rise in vehicle ownership and increased formalization of repair and maintenance services.

Vijay Khorgade, said, “By offering technical know-how and training, we enable our partners to deliver exceptional service and support to their customers. The Indian automotive market is evolving rapidly, and the ZF [pro]Tech plus concept ensures workshops stay ahead of the curve.”

Currently, India has over 140 ZF [pro]Tech start workshops, with ambitious plans to significantly expand the network of both ZF [pro]Tech start and ZF [pro]Tech plus workshops across North, South, and Western India in the next two years.

With this launch, ZF Aftermarket strengthens its “Maximizing Mobility Uptime” strategy, ensuring localized solutions, world-class service, and future-ready mobility for India’s growing automotive industry.
