ZETWERK has already secured contracts to supply these chargers to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and various private charge point operators.

ZETWERK Gains ARAI mobility outlook

ZETWERK has achieved a major milestone in the electric vehicle (EV) sector with the certification of its 60kW and 120kW DC fast chargers by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). ARAI conducted rigorous testing to ensure that ZETWERK’s chargers meet safety, environmental, and operational standards. These DC fast chargers are now set to play a crucial role in expanding EV charging networks across India, ensuring reliable and efficient service for EV users.

Collaborations are expected to increase the availability of fast-charging stations, addressing one of the key challenges hindering EV adoption—charging infrastructure. In addition to the certification, ZETWERK is actively pursuing research and development to enhance its product offerings. The company is working on next-generation Super DC Chargers, with capacities of 240kW and 360kW, which will enable faster charging times for commercial and public EV charging stations. This development aligns with the company’s long-term goal of revolutionising the EV charging infrastructure in India.

ZETWERK’s partnership with IOCL, announced earlier this year, involves deploying over 1,400 EV fast chargers across the country, ranging from 50kW to 120kW. This initiative is part of IOCL’s broader renewable energy strategy aimed at reducing transportation emissions and promoting sustainable mobility solutions.
