Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) company, Yulu, has announced the appointment of Pradeep Puranam as Head - Revenue & Operations. In this role, Pradeep will focus on driving revenue growth and building efficient operations for the People, Enterprise, & Goods mobility segments using the company's products and services.
Puranam will own the revenue strategy and execution, scaling operations and launching Yulu’s services in new cities, noted Amit Gupta, CEO & Co-founder of Yulu. He said as the head of Revenue & Operations, he will boost Yulu's 100x growth strategy and along with the senior leadership team, will be responsible for crafting the strategy and orchestrating its execution to deliver pan India revenue for the mobility business.
Puranam started his professional journey as a software engineer at IBM. Later, he joined TVS Supply Chain Solutions as part of their leadership programme and general management. He also donned multiple hats at Uber, which included launching, growing, and managing markets, building new lines of businesses, and establishing Uber as a reliable mobility platform at scale. Before Yulu, he worked with Udaan, where the focus was mostly on developing supply chain capabilities and operational excellence.
