India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd has introduced the 2024 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition models, adding to its ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign. The line-up includes the sport R15M and the naked MT-15 Version 2.0, both featuring the iconic MotoGP livery that highlights Yamaha's racing heritage.
Both the R15M and MT-15 Version 2.0 showcase a striking MotoGP livery on the tank shrouds, fuel tank, and side panels, emphasising their racing DNA. Powered by a 155cc fuel-injected liquid-cooled engine, these motorcycles deliver a maximum torque of 14.2 Nm and a power output of 18.1 bhp, ensuring a thrilling performance.
The R15M is designed with a strong focus on track-oriented performance, equipped with advanced features such as Traction Control System, Assist and Slipper Clutch, and Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The bike also boasts a fully digital colour TFT screen, Quick Shifter, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, and Music & Volume control, making it a feature-packed option for enthusiasts. The MT-15 Version 2.0, on the other hand, is tailored for agility and street performance, offering the same powerful engine along with a Telescopic Upside-Down Fork (USD Fork) for the front suspension and Linked-Type Monocross Suspension at the rear. Bluetooth connectivity is also standard, enhancing the riding experience.
