WardWizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd has announced the launch of a new range of electric three-wheelers under the Joy e-rik brand and a high-speed electric scooter, Nemo, under the Joy e-bike label. These solutions are locally manufactured products tailored to diverse market needs.
The Joy e-rik brand now includes two models in the passenger segment—the Joy e-rik V1 (L5) and Joy Bandhu (L3)—and two models in the commercial segment—Joy Sahayak + Cargo (L5) and Joy Eco Loader (L3). The Joy e-bike segment gets Nemo, an electric scooter designed for urban commuting.
The Joy e-rik V1 (L5), priced from INR 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom), offers seating for three passengers plus a driver and operates on a 10.24 kW lithium-ion battery. It boasts a top speed of 50 kmph, a range of 140 km on a single charge and a charging time of 4.5–5 hours. Safety features include a fire extinguisher, hazard indicator, and reverse buzzer.
The Joy Bandhu (L3), priced at INR 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom), features a compact design powered by a 48V BLDC motor and a 7.2 kW lead-acid battery pack. With a range of 100–120 km per charge, it supports efficient urban mobility with a D+4 seating configuration and includes safety elements such as drum brakes and helical spring suspension.
In the commercial segment, the Joy Sahayak + Cargo (L5), starting at INR 4.24 lakh (ex-showroom), caters to industrial and logistical demands with a 9 kW PMSM motor, a payload capacity of 650 kg plus the driver, and smart features such as GPS and geo-fencing. It offers a range of 120–130 km per charge and advanced safety features like a reverse buzzer and hazard indicators.
The Joy Eco Loader (L3), priced from INR 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), supports compact and efficient operations with a 48V BLDC motor, a payload capacity of 310 kg plus the driver, and a durable build for challenging conditions.
WardWizard's high-speed electric scooter, Nemo, comes with a price tag of INR 99,000 (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 72V, 40Ah lithium-ion battery and a 1500W DC brushless hub motor, delivering a maximum speed of 65 kmph and a range of 130 km per charge in Eco mode. The scooter features front telescopic suspension, dual rear shock absorbers, and hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels. Key technologies include a 5-inch full-colour TFT display, IoT-enabled vehicle tracking, and a CAN-enabled battery system with mobile app integration.
