Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited has announced its entry into fleet operations and last-mile delivery services. The company deployed its first batch of 100 electric two-wheelers in Hyderabad under its new fleet initiative, Optimotion, in collaboration with SpeedforcEV.
Unlike conventional fleet operations that focus primarily on vehicle deployment, Wardwizard is introducing a more comprehensive approach. The company’s new initiative includes not only vehicle supply but also 24/7 maintenance, spare parts availability, financing support, insurance services, and a charging infrastructure network. This model aims to minimise downtime for fleet operators and maximise vehicle uptime, enhancing overall operational efficiency. The company has partnered with Bluebells for cashless insurance services, Mangalam Industrial Finance Limited for financing, Ampvolts Limited for charging stations, and SpeedforcEV for spare parts and maintenance.
The initial deployment will cater to major delivery platforms including Zomato, Swiggy, Flipkart, Amazon, and BigBasket. Wardwizard plans to expand its fleet operations to other metropolitan cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Surat. The company has set an ambitious target of deploying 8,000 electric two-wheelers by March 2025 and scaling up to 50,000 vehicles by March 2026.
Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, stated that this initiative represents a major step forward in building a complete end-to-end ecosystem for fleet operations in India. He highlighted the company’s partnerships with key industry players to ensure a seamless and efficient mobility solution for businesses. The long-term goal is to drive wider adoption of electric vehicles in the fleet and logistics sector while addressing common operational challenges such as maintenance, financing, and charging infrastructure.
