Volkswagen India has launched the Taigun Train edition at INR 16.29 lakh, ex-showroom, India, which is equivalent to the regular version. The vehicle is introduced as a part of the GT Edge collection.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said that with this introduction, the company is strengthening our GT Edge Collection and expanding the choices for customers.
The SUV gets powered by the 1.5L TSI unit mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed manual transmission with a power output of 150PS and 250Nm of torque. Moreover, the 1.5L TSI unit will also feature cylinder deactivation for better fuel consumption.
The Taigun Trail edition gets body side graphics, black roof foil, Trail badge at the rear, black-colored door garnish, Black OVRM with striking red accents and Black Belmont alloy wheels on the carline.
Additionally, it also gets dual camera Digital Video Recorder or DVR (Dashcam) with dual camera DVR (Dashcam) and an in-built 5.08 cm IPS LCD display. Meanwhile the interior features Trail theme seat covers, puddle lamps and sporty foot-pedals.
