Volkswagen India has collaborated with Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB), a government welfare scheme for serving and retired service personnel and their families. The partnership aims to make Volkswagen's cars more accessible to those who have dedicated their lives to serving the country.
Under this initiative, Volkswagen India is offering its entire range of safe cars to KPKB beneficiaries across the country. The goal is to enhance the accessibility of Volkswagen's car portfolio, providing beneficiaries with world-class mobility at a more reasonable price.
The KPKB system, initiated by the Indian Government's Ministry of Home Affairs in 2006, serves serving and retired members of Central Armed Police Forces and their families. The scheme extends benefits to various security forces, including the Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Assam Rifles, State Police Forces, Central Police Organizations, Intelligence Bureau, Special Protection Group, National Crime Records Bureau, and National Investigation Agency personnel and their families.
KPKB operates through 119 Master Canteens or Bhandars as distribution centres and over 1,800 subsidiary bhandars as retail outlets, catering to the scheme's 35 lakh beneficiaries across India.
By aligning with KPKB, Volkswagen India reinforces its commitment as a brand focused on making a positive impact on the lives of those who tirelessly serve and protect the nation.
