Volkswagen India Unveils Taigun Onam Edition mobility outlook

Volkswagen India has announced an expansion of its network in Kerala inaugurating six new customer touch points. This move includes the opening of city stores in Calicut, Trivandrum, and Kochi, along with a new body shop facility in Kochi. Additionally, the brand has launched a special Onam Edition for the Taigun and Virtus models, featuring enhanced features to celebrate the festive season.

In celebration of the upcoming festive season, Volkswagen has introduced the special Onam Edition for the Taigun and Virtus models. This edition features front parking sensors, a dual-tone horn, puddle lamps, a TSI fender badge, and more.

With the addition of these new outlets, Volkswagen now boasts 21 sales and 16 service touch points across Kerala. This growth is aimed at providing better accessibility and superior service to the growing customer base in Kerala. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, stated “Kerala has always been a key market for Volkswagen India with its dynamic economy and discerning customer base. The opening of these new touch points and the introduction of the special Onam Edition of Taigun and Virtus are a testament to our commitment to the Kerala market and our endeavour to provide premium, German-engineered vehicles to our valued customers here.”

The Calicut store features a two-car display, while the Trivandrum and Kochi outlets will each display three cars from Volkswagen's product range. These stores are designed to offer a premium and customer-centric experience.

Volkswagen's new body shop facility in Kochi is equipped with 11 service bays and offers comprehensive services, including express service and full-fledged body repair facilities. This state-of-the-art facility is aimed at providing efficient, high-quality service to meet the needs of Volkswagen customers in the region.

The leadership of Ajit Bhaskaran, Managing Director of Phoenix Cars, has facilitated the addition of two more sales and service facilities at Kodungallur and Palakkad, alongside the new city stores in Calicut. Similarly, Sabu Johny, Managing Director of EVM Motors, will be overseeing the city stores in Kochi and Trivandrum, as well as the body shop in Kochi. Together, these touchpoints will be managed by over 110 skilled sales and service executives, ensuring a seamless and customer-focused service experience.
