Volkswagen India has introduced two new variants of its sedan Virtus: the GT Plus Sport and GT Line. These models feature enhanced aesthetics and advanced features aimed at catering to customers seeking a sporty and premium driving experience. The Virtus GT Line is priced at INR 14.07 lakh, while the GT Plus Sport starts at INR 17.84 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
The Virtus GT Line offers a range of additional features, including an 8-inch digital cockpit, an electric sunroof, laser red ambient lighting, aluminium pedals, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers. This variant is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI engine with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options, ensuring both performance and fuel efficiency.
For those seeking an even sportier experience, the Virtus GT Plus Sport is powered by a 1.5-litre TSI EVO petrol engine with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG transmission options. It includes 23 aesthetic and feature updates, such as blackened LED headlamps, red brake callipers, ventilated front seats, and a subwoofer and amplifier for enhanced entertainment. The GT Plus Sport also comes with the added convenience of electric front seats and auto-dimming rear-view mirrors.
Volkswagen has also refreshed the Virtus line-up by introducing a new Highline Plus variant, starting at INR 13.87 lakh, offering more features for a lower price. Across the range, Volkswagen continues to prioritise customer satisfaction with a strong focus on design, performance, and safety.
