Viva ACP, Asia’s largest manufacturer of metal composite panels, has launched advanced Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) aimed at improving the safety and performance of bus bodies in India.

The new ACPs by Viva offer benefits such as reduced vehicle weight, enhanced fuel efficiency, and better overall performance. These lightweight panels meet the Ministry's new safety standards, helping manufacturers comply with the updated guidelines.

With the Indian electric bus market expected to grow rapidly, driven by government initiatives, the company’s panels are positioned to support this transition. The company has already collaborated with Tata Motors Body Solutions on electric buses for Bangalore’s Metropolitan Transport Corporation.

Mayank Jain, Director of Viva Composite Panel, said, Our state-of-the-art Aluminium Composite Panels are not just about enhancing performance—they represent our promise to lead with integrity, drive positive change, and contribute to a greener future for the industry. We are excited to collaborate with bus manufacturers and industry stakeholders to achieve these transformative goals.'
