Varroc, a global Tier-1 automotive supplier, has appointed Dr Karl-Heinz Glander as the Head of Research and Development for its Business II division. Based in Germany, he will oversee R&D activities, focusing on advanced technologies such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), and other cutting-edge automotive innovations.

Glander, who holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Bonn, brings 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. His previous roles include positions at Aptiv, ZF Automotive/TRW, and Siemens VDO/Continental. His expertise spans advanced technology, product innovation, and process-oriented development, with specific knowledge in areas like automotive safety and cybersecurity.

Jain said the appointment marks a significant step forward in the company’s journey. His expertise in the automotive sector will be instrumental in driving its R&D efforts forward.
