Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru based electric vehicle manufacturer, is gearing up for the launch of their new motorcycle on 24 April. Word is that this may be their fastest motorcycle yet as the company says it is stepping into the “next chapter of performance.”
In all likelihood, Ultraviolette may launch a faster version of the F77 electric motorcycle, which already is pretty quick. It has a 27kW motor that develops 85Nm and can propel the bike to a claimed top speed of 140kmph. We might see the faster variant of the F77 feature a more powerful motor that should enable the bike to hit a much higher top speed.
Besides this, we could also see the F77 to feature some of the goodies from the F99 prototype that was showcased at EICMA 2023. This could be in the form of a new colourway and downforce generating wings on the side fairings.
The rest of the bike, be it the chassis, suspension, brakes etc. could be the same as on the current bike. Expect to also see a similar set of features that you see on the current F77 including all LED lights, TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and ABS.
The Ultraviolette F77 is priced between Rs 3.8 lakh to Rs 4.55 lakh. Expect the faster version to cost a few thousands more.
