Ultraviolette Appoints Vinayak Bhat as CPO mobility outlook

Ultraviolette has announced the appointment of Vinayak Bhat as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO). In this role, Bhat will be responsible for expanding Ultraviolette's product portfolio and driving the company’s strategic entry into new international markets. His promotion comes at a crucial time as Ultraviolette accelerates its efforts to strengthen its technological advantage and broaden its reach in the high-performance electric vehicle sector.

Bhat has been a key figure at Ultraviolette since 2017, playing a significant role in the development of the F77 Mach 2 and F99 Racing Platform. His extensive background in engineering, particularly in the aerospace industry with experience at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Safran Engineering, provides him with a unique perspective on product development and innovation.

In his new position, Bhat will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from inception and design to market introduction. He will lead efforts to enhance Ultraviolette's product range, focusing on vertical integration across critical components such as battery technology, drivetrain, and vehicle architecture. His aim is to set new standards in the industry and strengthen Ultraviolette's position as a global leader in electric mobility.

Before taking on the role of CPO, Bhat served as Technical Director and Principal Engineer at Ultraviolette, where he was instrumental in coordinating various aspects of product development, engineering, operations, and manufacturing. His previous experience includes a stint as a structural engineer at ISRO and as a design analyst at Safran Engineering, where he contributed to projects for major industry players like Airbus and Boeing.
