Twyn has secured a notable victory in Maruti Suzuki's startup accelerator program. Recognised for its innovative solutions, Twyn will collaborate with Maruti Suzuki to implement a paid Proof-of-Concept (PoC) at the cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Gurugram.
Twyn's platform creates Phygital Twins, offering a live and connected version of physical assets and environments. What sets Twyn apart is its ability to bring insights from the digital twin back to the physical environment, enabling on-ground optimisation of machinery, inventory, and human resources for manufacturers.
The startup's solutions specifically target the challenge of unplanned downtimes in machines on shop floors. Through real-time monitoring and data analysis of factory assets, Twyn aids in early fault detection. This proactive approach enables manufacturers to reduce downtime by up to 55%, increase efficiency by 28%, and enhance manpower optimisation by up to 15%. Beyond efficiency gains, Twyn empowers manufacturers to utilise resources optimally, lower emissions, and contribute to achieving net-zero goals for sustainable manufacturing.
Avi Dahiya, Founder & CEO of Twyn, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, 'Twyn's Phygital Twin model simplifies decision-makers' analysis, engagement, and actions based on real-time data from physical assets, significantly reducing time, cost, and resources required for process completion. Our selection in Maruti Suzuki's innovation program validates our commitment to offering a global value proposition for Large Enterprises and OEMs to accelerate smart manufacturing.'
Twyn offers an all-encompassing solution for various processes and visual data by integrating existing data from multiple sensors, 3D models, MES/ERP/SCADA systems like SAP onto a single platform. This integration allows manufacturers and OEMs to deploy Twyn's solutions seamlessly without the need for additional hardware.
