TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited has announced that it has been awarded a significant new contract by VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) to manage in-plant warehousing and logistics operations at the Eicher bus manufacturing facility in Baggad, Madhya Pradesh.
This new contract extends a longstanding collaboration between TVS SCS and VECV, which began in 2006 with the management of in-plant logistics at VECV's truck manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.

B Srinivas, EVP of VE Commercial Vehicles, also commented on the contract, noting, “The extension of our business opportunity to TVS SCS at our VECV Baggad plant underscores the shared commitment of both companies to achieving strategic objectives and desired outcomes, further solidifying the foundation for continued growth and operational excellence.”
The logistics services provided by TVS SCS at the Baggad facility will include seamless inward operations for the timely receipt of parts, efficient storage, and accurate picking of parts from defined locations as per the Production Planning Control (PPC) team’s requirements. Additionally, delivering parts to designated assembly lines based on the Bill of Material (BOM) will ensure a steady flow of materials and maintain production line efficiency.
This new deal not only strengthens the ties between TVS SCS and VECV but also highlights TVS SCS's capability to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end supply chain solutions that enhance production efficiencies and support the growth of their clients' operations. The partnership has already facilitated the creation of over 1200 job opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, reflecting its socio-economic impact.
