TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) to advance the utilisation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within its business operations. The collaboration is aimed at enhancing AI governance and embedding it as a fundamental structure across the organization.
Initially supported by the Higher Education Innovation Funding (HEIF), facilitating knowledge exchange between academic institutions and industry, TVS SCS has deepened its engagement with MMU. The partnership has now progressed to an application for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), focusing on exploring technological solutions leveraging AI for supply chain optimisation.
Andrew Jones, CEO at TVS SCS UK and Europe, said that this partnership marks a significant milestone for the company as it continues to integrate AI into its operations. With AI already playing a pivotal role in various aspects of its operations, this collaboration will further enhance the process capabilities.
