The company aims to transition its entire vehicle portfolio to OBD-2B standards by March 2025, ensuring compliance with the latest emission and diagnostic regulations.

TVS Motor Company (TVSM has begun dispatching its OBD-2B compliant vehicles, starting with the TVS Jupiter 110. The scooter is now available at dealerships across India, priced at INR 76,691 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) for the base variant.

The OBD-2B upgrade enhances sensor technology and on-board diagnostics, enabling real-time monitoring of throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel levels, and engine speed. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) performs live analysis of this data, allowing for closer emission monitoring and improved durability. This advanced system ensures that TVS vehicles continue to operate in an eco-friendly and efficient manner throughout their lifespan.
