Triumph Motorcycles India has reduced the prices of the Street Triple R by up to Rs 48,000. The Matt Baja Orange and Crystal White colours are Rs. 22,000 cheaper and now have a price tag of Rs. 10.21 lakh. On the other hand, the Pure White and Silver Ice colours of the bike are now Rs. 48,000 more affordable than before, and cost Rs 9.95 lakh. The price is sure to sound like music to the ears of those keen on buying the British street naked motorcycle. The price drop also brings the Street Triple R closer to its arch rival, the Kawasaki Z900, that is priced at Rs 9.38 lakh. All the prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
While the Street Triple R has received a price cut, the Street Triple RS’ prices for the Phantom Black, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow colours have been increased by Rs 14,000. They will set you back by Rs 12.21 lakh. Meanwhile, the Street Triple RS in the Silver Ice colour costs Rs. 11.95 lakh, making it cheaper by Rs 12,000.
Mechanically and in terms of features, Triumph has made no changes to both the variants of the Street Triple. The higher-spec RS trim has a 765cc, inline-triple, liquid-cooled engine that produces 128.2bhp and 80Nm. The R variant, on the other hand, produces a slightly lower 118.4bhp whereas the torque output figure is identical.
They differ in terms of features as well, with the RS getting a larger TFT display and higher-spec suspension and tyres than the Street Triple R.
