British two-wheeler manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycles on Tuesday launched its updated 2021 Street Scrambler in India at a starting price of INR 9.35 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
The Street Scrambler gets the liquid-cooled 900 cc high-torque Bonneville twin-cylinder engine that produces 65 PS at 7,250 rpm and 80 Nm of torque at 3,250 rpm. The Euro 5 compliant engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission.
The motorcycle is feature rich, with switchable ABS and traction control coming as standard on the bike. It also gets three riding modes – Rain, Road, and Off-Road – as well as a torque-assist clutch. In addition, it features LED rear lights, a key fob-integrated immobiliser and USB charging socket and a trip computer. As standard, the bike gets new cartridge front forks and forward-set foot-pegs.
Moreover, it is equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear blacked-out wire-spoked wheels with dual-purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres. The bike can be customised with over 120 genuine Triumph accessories, including rugged and durable luggage options, as well as add-ons for enhanced everyday utility such as heated grips, a centre stand, short and tall screens, adjustable levers and engine protectors.
The new Street Scrambler is available in three premium paint schemes: classic Jet Black, new contemporary Urban Grey, and a new twin colour Matt Khaki and Matt Ironstone scheme with distinctive new tank graphics, a release issued by the company stated.
