Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced that the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has surpassed 1,00,000 unit sales since its launch in July 2022.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder combines Toyota’s hybrid technology with design and performance features. It is available in three powertrains: Self-charging Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV), Neo Drive, and CNG. The SHEV variant features a 1.5-litre engine with the Toyota Hybrid System (THS) and e-drive transmission, delivering a combined power output of 85 kW. The hybrid system operates without the need for external charging, utilising a self-charging mechanism to enhance convenience and efficiency.

Fuel efficiency is a key aspect of the Hyryder, offering up to 27.97 kmpl in the SHEV variant, 21.12 kmpl in the NeoDrive (MT), and 26.6 km/kg in CNG mode. The Neo Drive powertrain also offers an optional All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, catering to diverse driving conditions and preferences.

Commenting on the achievement, Sabari Manohar, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at TKM, said, “The positive response to the Urban Cruiser Hyryder reflects our commitment to delivering innovative mobility solutions tailored to the evolving preferences of Indian customers. This milestone signifies the beginning of a new era in SUV technology that prioritises sustainability, performance, and customer satisfaction.”

TKM offers a range of services under the 'T CARE' programme, covering aspects from presales to aftersales and repurchases. The programme includes offerings such as T DELIVER, T GLOSS, T ASSIST, and T SMILE, aiming to enhance customer experience and foster long-term relationships.
