Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Wednesday announced the prices for its Innova Hycross starting at INR 18,30,000, ex-showroom, India, for the G trim level in the petrol seven-seater form. The strong hybrid range starts at INR 24,01,000 for the VX seven-seater variant.
Atul Sood, Associate Vice President, Sales, and Strategic Marketing, TKM, said the company believes that the pricing of the new Innova HyCross will strengthen the legacy of the brand (Innova) while boosting the company’s quest for promoting sustainable mobility.
Based on Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), the MPV is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a direct shift CVT in select grades delivering an output of 128 kW (174 PS) with a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.13 kmpl.
Meanwhile, the strong hybrid variants get the fifth-generation self-charging strong hybrid electric system with an e-drive sequential shift paired with the petrol engine to deliver 137 kW (186 PS) of power and a mileage of 23.24 kmpl.
Notably, the company claims that the vehicle can run 40% of the distance and 60% of the time in electric (EV) or zero-emission mode.
On the warranty side, the vehicle comes with a three years/100,000 kilometres warranty with an option of an extended warranty of up to five years/220,000 kilometres, three years of free roadside assistance, attractive financial schemes and eight years /160,000 kilometres warranty on the Hybrid battery.
