Automotive customization brand DC2, renowned for its visionary designs and founded by the legendary Dilip Chhabria, made a grand return to the industry at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. After a brief hiatus, DC2, in collaboration with Mercury EV-Tech, presented two revolutionary products: the e-TANQ, a futuristic electric off-roader, and Europa, an ultra-luxurious showroom on wheels.

The e-TANQ, designed in-house by DC2 in partnership with Mercury EV-Tech Ltd, is a powerful and rugged all-electric commercial vehicle that seeks to transform both urban and commercial transportation. With a massive 180 kWh battery and an impressive 650 BHP, the e-TANQ stands as a perfect example of engineering excellence combined with design innovation. The vehicle’s bold exterior and sustainable electric drivetrain make it a key player in the future of mobility, offering a seamless blend of performance and eco-friendly technology.

In addition to the e-TANQ, DC2 also showcased Europa, a bespoke, high-end mobile showroom developed in collaboration with Goldmedal Electricals, one of India’s leading Fast Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) companies. At a cost of INR 18 crore, Europa is a state-of-the-art mobile showroom designed to offer luxury and sophistication while bringing products to the customers’ doorstep. The showroom's design exudes DC2’s mastery in combining craftsmanship with cutting-edge aesthetics, creating an immersive and unique experience for its clientele.

Dilip Chhabria, the visionary founder of DC2, spoke of his excitement at the event, stating, “Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 has provided an ideal platform for us to reconnect with automotive enthusiasts and showcase our future vision for mobility. It is an honour to present our innovations to such a passionate audience, and we are delighted to be part of this event.”

Chhabria also expressed his pride in the collaboration with Mercury EV-Tech, adding, “The journey with Mercury EV-Tech has been incredible. Together, we’ve created a vehicle that marries the boldness of an off-roader with the sophistication of electric technology. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for DC2, as we continue to push the boundaries of design and sustainability.”

Echoing Chhabria’s sentiments, Mr. Jayesh Thakkar, Chairman of Mercury EV-Tech Ltd., emphasised the synergy between the two brands. “We believe in Dilip Chhabria’s legacy of futuristic design and engineering excellence, which made DC2 the perfect partner for the e-TANQ. Our collaboration is rooted in a shared vision to redefine the future of mobility with cutting-edge design and sustainability. With e-TANQ, we aim to meet the demands of modern consumers while shaping the future of transportation.”

In addition to the e-TANQ and Europa, DC2 also showcased four other innovative products at the Expo. These included the Vellfire Quad Luxe, a reimagined Toyota Vellfire that offers the luxury of a private jet on wheels; the Empyrean, a stylish family vehicle blending luxury and comfort; the Lex Lounge, a vehicle designed to bring first-class luxury to everyday commuting; and the e-Rover, a sleek modern reinterpretation of the urban rickshaw.

DC2’s presence at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 underscored its commitment to pioneering automotive design, sustainability, and innovation, reaffirming its position as a leader in the transformation of future mobility solutions.
