Designed to meet the high-speed charging demands of electric four-wheelers, TAKA aims to support the burgeoning adoption of electric vehicles in India. With a price of INR 4.2 lakh, TAKA represents Terra Charge's commitment to providing affordable and efficient charging solutions in the 34.8 billion USD Indian EV market.
The TAKA charger is 100% Made in India, embodying Japanese technology. This charger offers a 30 kW DC output ensuring a fast-charging experience for users. Terra Charge plans to deploy 100 TAKA units across North India by the end of this year aiming to make high-quality EV charging infrastructure widely accessible. This strategic move is expected to address common issues in the fast-charging segment, such as application problems, charging and payment glitches, and inadequate after-sales support, thereby helping new CPOs expand their businesses.
The TAKA charger features a metal body with IP54 protection, ensuring durability against harsh weather conditions. It is equipped with advanced communication features such as OCPP1.6J/GSM-4G/WiFi, providing seamless connectivity for users. Additionally, the charger is powered by IoT support, enabling efficient charging management. Terra Charge's Japanese R&D team was closely involved in the production process, ensuring that the chargers uphold the highest standards of quality and performance.
