Terra Charge & AAI mobility outlook

Terra Charge in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) inaugurated an electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at Raja Bhoj International Airport in Bhopal on 29 November 2024. This configuration allows the hub to charge up to four electric vehicles simultaneously, catering to the varying requirements of public EV owners and commercial fleet operators. The hub aims to ease range anxiety among EV users and encourage the adoption of electric vehicles in Bhopal and surrounding regions.

The charging hub is integrated with Terra Charge’s mobile application, which allows EV owners to locate, access, and monitor charging sessions conveniently. This digital integration aligns with the broader push for user-friendly e-mobility solutions, ensuring accessibility and efficiency for all EV users.

The hub also highlights the dual focus on supporting individual EV owners and enabling commercial fleets, such as ride-hailing services and delivery operators, to integrate EVs into their operations. By addressing the needs of both segments, Terra Charge and AAI are setting a precedent for public-private partnerships in advancing India’s green transportation agenda.
