Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the expansion of its 17-year relationship with UK based airline Virgin Atlantic and will be an integral part of the carrier’s future transformation strategy.
TCS will take exclusive responsibility for Virgin Atlantic’s end-to-end operational management and digital transformation.

TCS will manage the airline’s technology operations and undertake a series of technology and business transformation initiatives to enable Virgin Atlantic to leverage Microsoft Azure.

TCS will also help build innovative digital solutions with Cloud-First guiding principles to help Virgin improve technology resilience, agility, and performance in its purpose-led transformation, a company release said.
Virgin Atlantic’s technology team will transfer 70 personnel to TCS to create an integrated team that will run and transform the airline’s end-to-end technology operations.
