The Tata Harrier and Safari siblings brought along a slew of updates when they arrived in the facelifted avatar in October last year, one of the highlights being an ADAS suite. Simultaneously, the colour palette of both SUVs has witnessed a rejig.
The Tata SUV siblings now come equipped with lane centering assist and lane keep assist in the ADAS suite. The latter already boasted features like high-beam assist, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, collision warning, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection, emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The aforementioned features in the Safari and Harrier now make both these SUVs on par with the competition when it comes to the ADAS suite.
Apart from the technical update, the Tata Harrier and Safari now get a revised list in the colour scheme department. Starting with the Safari, the higher-spec variants can now be opted for in the Lunar Slate paint while lower-spec variants have the option of Galactic Sapphire and Stardust Ash. On the other hand, the Harrier in its top-end variants is now available with the Seaweed Green and Ash Grey colours, while the entry-level variants receive additional options in the form of Coral Red and Pebble Grey. Additionally, the Sunlit Yellow is now limited to the top-spec variant while the Lunar White paint is offered across the range.
These updates to the Tata Safari and Harrier are likely to be based on customer feedback. The addition of colours and ADAS features are expected to widen the appeal of the SUVs not just in their own right but also when compared with rivals.
