Tata Technologies Joins Telechips To Drive Innovation In SDVs

Announced at CES 2025, the collaboration aims to support vehicle software solutions, focusing on ADAS platforms, automotive cockpit domain controllers, and central and zonal gateway controllers.

Tata Technologies, a leader in product engineering and digital services, has partnered with Telechips, a pioneering automotive semiconductor solutions company, to accelerate advancements in next-generation software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

As the automotive industry transitions to connected, autonomous, and electric mobility, SDVs are at the core of this evolution. However, seamless integration of software and hardware remains a challenge. The partnership combines Tata Technologies' expertise in automotive software engineering with Telechips' advanced semiconductor technologies, including AI-powered SoCs and network gateway processors, to address these challenges and reduce time-to-market for automakers.

The partnership will co-develop scalable software frameworks for ADAS and autonomous platforms, integrating AI for enhanced situational awareness and decision-making. Telechips’ SoCs will enable faster, more efficient vehicle communications, aligning with global sustainability goals and advancing the era of SDVs.

Warren Harris, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Technologies, highlighted the significance of the partnership, said, “This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to enabling OEMs to deliver intelligent, connected, and sustainable vehicles that redefine safety, functionality, and user experiences.”
