Tata Power Renewable mobility outlook

Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors to establish 200 fast-charging stations across India’s major metro cities. These stations will be strategically located in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, expanding the companies' collaboration in advancing sustainable electric mobility solutions.

This initiative is part of a broader plan to enhance electric mobility infrastructure, with nearly 1,000 fast chargers to be made available across the country as part of the network expansion. Additionally, Tata Motors' electric CV owners will benefit from exclusive charging tariffs, reducing operational costs and increasing profitability.

Tata Power’s extensive EV charging network, branded as EZ Charge, currently includes over 100,000 home chargers and 5,500 public, semi-public, and fleet charging points. The network also features more than 1,100 bus charging stations across 530 cities and towns, making it a cornerstone of India’s electric mobility ecosystem. These chargers are strategically placed at easily accessible locations such as highways, malls, hotels, hospitals, and residential complexes, contributing significantly to the growing adoption of electric vehicles.

Equipped with a cutting-edge battery management system and Fleet Edge telematics, the Ace EV provides real-time insights into vehicle health, location, and driver behaviour, improving road safety and operational efficiency. With over 150 dedicated Electric Vehicle Service Centres across the country, Tata Motors ensures robust after-sales support for its electric CV users.
