EV Charging Infrastructure solutions provider Tata Power has announced that it has achieved the milestone of setting up 1,000 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations.
The company has worked with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to provide EV charging infrastructure and plans to grow its presence in several Indian cities. It has collaborated with Tata Motors, MG Motors India, Jaguar Land Rover, TVS, and other automakers to develop EV charging infrastructure for its customers and dealers.
Partnerships with numerous state transport utilities make e-bus charging possible, helping the cause of green public transportation.
The company is also working closely with IOCL, HPCL, IGL, MGL, and a number of state governments to develop EV charging infrastructure.
The infrastructure provider believes that this network of 1,000 public EV charging stations will give Tata Power customers innovative and seamless EV charging experiences throughout offices, malls, hotels, retail outlets, and public access points, providing clean mobility and relief from range anxiety.
In addition, there are close to 10,000 home EV charging points, which make EV charging convenient for vehicle owners.
Tata Power EZ Chargers ecosystem covers the entire value chain of public chargers, captive chargers, bus/ fleet chargers and home chargers.
Dr Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD, Tata Power, said, “We have started the first of our many milestones towards enabling the EV revolution in the country through successful deployment of over 1,000 EV charging points in public domain.
