Tata Motors announced that it has crossed the 50,000 sales mark for its Nexon EV since its launch in 2020. Interestingly, the Nexon EV contributes up to 15% to the total Nexon brand sales, and as per the sales trend, many young buyers are opting for the Nexon EV.
With a claimed range of 453 kms on a single charge, the e-SUV is being sold across 500 cities, a press release from Tata Motors noted.
Vivek Srivatsa, Head, Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, noted that the sales achievement is a testament to how India has embraced EVs as the mobility of the current times.
In May 2023, the Indian carmaker introduced the Nexon EV in Nepal at NPR 46.49 lakh (approx. INR 28.76 lakh).
