Tata Motors has been awarded the prestigious Global NCAP Safer Choice Award for its flagship SUVs, the Tata Safari and Harrier.
Mohan Savarkar, Vice President and Chief Product Officer of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, expressed pride in receiving the award, highlighting the company’s focus on safety across its entire vehicle range. 'We have pioneered the safety conversation in India, ensuring that every vehicle we manufacture, regardless of price, meets the highest safety standards,' he said. He also noted that Tata Motors’ SUV lineup is the only one in India to achieve a 5-star safety rating.
Savarkar further emphasised the importance of safety in the Indian market, stating that Tata Motors' commitment to safety and innovation ensures that customers experience both performance and the highest standards of protection. He thanked the Global NCAP team for their support in helping Tata Motors make safer cars for India.
