Tata Motors Sells 214,250 Globally In Q1FY22

Home-grown automaker Tata Motors sold 214,250 units in Q1FY22, including sales of its luxury arm Jaguar Land Rover. The company said that it recorded a growth of 134% compared to sales of Q1FY21. 

According to the press release issued by the company, the global wholesales of all its commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q1FY22 were at 52,470 units higher by 355% over Q1FY21. 

The global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q1FY22 were at 161,780 units, higher by 102% compared to Q1FY21. 

Global wholesales of its luxury car brand, Jaguar Land Rover were 97,141 units (JLR number for Q1FY22 includes Chery JLR volumes of 12,699 units). Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 21,373 units, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were 75,768 units.
