Tata Motors Introduces

Tata Motors has launched two significant funding programs, ‘Vidyadhan’ and ‘Utkarsha’, aimed at supporting the higher education of the children of its technicians. The ‘Vidyadhan’ program offers education loans at concessional rates to children who have successfully completed grades 10 and 12, providing a financial bridge for their continued education. Meanwhile, the ‘Utkarsha’ program extends annual scholarships specifically benefiting girls, transgender individuals, and specially-abled children.

The ‘Vidyadhan’ program is designed to empower the next generation by providing education loans up to INR 7.5 lakh. These loans cover up to 95% of domestic education fees or up to 85% for international education. Offered in collaboration with the State Bank of India (SBI), Tata Motors provides significant interest rate concessions—50% lower for boys and 70% lower for girls, transgender individuals, and specially-abled children. To be eligible, students must enrol in a full-time graduate or postgraduate course of at least two years duration at recognised universities or AICTE-equivalent institutions.

The ‘Utkarsha’ program offers an annual scholarship of INR 25,000 to support the higher education of girls, transgender individuals, and specially-abled children who have completed grades 10 or 12 with a minimum score of 60%. To qualify, students must secure admission in a recognised university or AICTE-equivalent institution.
