Tata Motors Delivers 218 Winger Veterinary Vans To West Bengal Govt

Tata Motors announced that it has delivered 218 Winger veterinary vans to the Government of West Bengal, flagged off by Mamta Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, along with Swapan Debnath, Minister of Animal Resources Development, Government of West Bengal and other delegates from the state government and Tata Motors.

Powered by the 2.2-litre engine and equipped with state-of-the-art features, the specially customised Winger will be utilised by the Department of Animal Resource Development for animal and livestock welfare, a press release from Tata Motors noted.

The release added that the company emerged as the top bidder, as per the terms and conditions of the Government body. The e-bidding process was carried out through the Government e-Marketplace.

Vinay Pathak, Vice President, Product Line – SCV, PU and Vans, Tata Motors, said, “Built on Tata Winger’s versatile platform, the veterinary van is engineered to facilitate smooth operations in the state.”
