Tata Motors has announced its collaboration with Amazon to bring Alexa to their newly launched line-up of vehicles. The latest Nexon, Nexon.ev, Harrier, and Safari cars now come with built-in Alexa.
Dilip R. S., Director and Country Manager - Alexa, Amazon India, said that AI is already experienced in multiple facets of our lives, and this will only continue to grow.
This collaboration with Tata Motors will enable customers to continue experiencing much of what they know and love about Alexa from their home, in their Tata Motors vehicles, with added functionality for car controls and navigation.
Sven Patuschka, VP & CTO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. & Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., stated that while safety remains key, the advent of connected tech features is a fast-growing requirement of the customers and users.
