Tata Motors on Friday launched the Harrier XMS/XMAS variant at INR 17.2 lakh ex-showroom, India, for the MT option, while the one with automatic transmission is priced at INR 18.5 lakh.
Seating above the XM/XMS variant, the new trim level gets 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, along with a panoramic sunroof on the outside, while the cabin features a touchscreen infotainment unit, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera, and an 8-speaker sound system.
Based on the OMEGA Architecture, the Harrier XMS/XMAS gets powered by the 2.0L Kryotec 170 Turbocharged BS6 diesel engine mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. Combined, the powertrain produces 168hp and 350 Nm of torque.
Earlier, the mid-size SUV from the stable of Tata Motors also saw the addition of the Jet Edition, with which it saw a unique exterior colour, Starlight, with a dual-tone combination of an earthy bronze body and a platinum silver roof and a few updates on the inside.
