Tata Elxsi and Emerson have inaugurated the Tata Elxsi + NI Mobility Innovation Centre (TENMIC) in Bengaluru to support automotive innovation with advanced systems, software solutions, and global automotive expertise. TENMIC combines advanced technologies and systems from Emerson’s Test & Measurement business, formerly NI, with Tata Elxsi's extensive automotive engineering, data analytics, and digitalisation expertise.
With the automotive industry rapidly evolving through software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and the integration of digital technologies, there is an increasing demand for swift innovation to develop, validate, and release new features. TENMIC is strategically designed to address these needs by enabling OEMs to 'shift left.' This approach involves validating performance and functionality through a blend of virtual and physical testing well before production, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance.
