The car will be launched in India in H2 of 2024.

Generic Data

The body style of the Tata Curvv will be the automaker’s newest one in almost six years and will be a premium offering to take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Maruti Grand Vitara. From what we have seen, it will get a feature mix from the Nexon as well as the Safari and Harrier. However, new pictures indicate that, unlike the Safari/Harrier, it will not get a panoramic sunroof but rather a single-pane sunroof.

Tata is one of those manufacturers that has the option of a sunroof in six out of seven ICE models that it sells for private buyers. Of these, the Harrier and the Safari have panoramic units while the rest are single pane. It is possible that the sport back roofline that defines the Curvv was proving to be a challenge with regard to incorporating the second glass section of the sunroof. Going by what we have seen, the sunroof will be electrically operated and also have voice control in multiple languages via the AI assistant.

The Curvv will arrive in the festive season first as an EV and then as an ICE model that we saw at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Show. We also know that the latter will be offered with both petrol and diesel power. Its main rival will be the Citroen Basalt, also a coupe SUV.
