Tata Motors is set to launch the Curvv EV in the country on 7 August. Ahead of its price reveal, we have got our hands on exclusive details of the coupe SUV, including the safety rating, feature list, battery pack, and more.
According to our sources, the Tata Curvv siblings have managed to score five-star ratings in the BNCAP crash test. This will make the EV and the ICE versions the eighth and ninth models to score top honours in NCAP crash tests. Notably, the Altroz, Nexon, and the Punch scored five stars in the GNCAP rating while the Nexon EV, Punch EV, Harrier, and the Safari scored five stars in the BNCAP crash test.
Coming to the feature list, the Tata Curvv EV will come equipped with a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, Level 2 ADAS suite, iRA 2.0, cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels, nine-speaker JBL-sourced music system, six airbags, panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors, LED lighting, and Arcade.EV suite. Also up for offer will be electrically adjustable front seats, rear AC vents, 12.2-inch touchscreen unit, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, disc brakes for all four wheels, and 500 litres of bootspace.
The 2024 Curvv EV will be powered by a 55kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor that is claimed to return a range of 600km on a single full charge. Additionally, the DC fast charger will allow the battery to be recharged with a range of 100km in 10 minutes.
