Expanded Renault Nissan Tech Workspace mobility outlook

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin virtually inaugurated a new workspace for Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India (Renault Nissan Tech) on 21st August 2024, marking a significant expansion of the company’s operations in Chennai. The expanded facility, located in Mahindra World City SEZ, Chengalpattu, will accommodate an additional 2000 employees, underscoring the company’s continued growth over the past decade and a half.

The new workspace is situated within the same premises as the company’s headquarters in Ascendas IT Park, further strengthening its presence in the region. Spanning 1.38 lakh square feet, the new office space has been designed with modernity and collaboration in mind. It features an open floor plan, meeting rooms, and a work café, all aimed at fostering an agile work environment that encourages productivity and innovation. The expansion reflects Renault Nissan Tech's commitment to providing cutting-edge services and solutions to its parent companies, Renault and Nissan.

Debashis Neogi, Managing Director of Renault Nissan Tech, stated 'Our centre is becoming a global hub of competencies in key areas such as simulation, after-sales engineering, software validation, AI, and cloud migration. As we continue to expand, our focus is on attracting top talent, particularly in deep tech fields, to drive digital transformation for Renault and Nissan. This new workspace, with its additional capacity, is designed to inspire innovation and collaboration.'
