JSW MG Motor India has introduced a new channel brand, MG Select, aimed at the growing 'accessible luxury' market in India. This segment includes consumers looking for exclusivity through premium products and enhanced experiences. MG Select is designed to cater to this demand by focusing on providing a unique customer experience for buyers in this category.

The launch of MG Select is part of the company’s strategic approach to tap into the premium automotive market. As consumer preferences shift towards luxury products that are more inclusive, sustainable, and personalised, MG Motor aims to distinguish MG Select from competitors with a curated, customer-centric approach. In its first phase, MG Select plans to open exclusive luxury experience centres in 12 key cities across India.

Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer of JSW MG Motor India, said, 'The traditional concept of 'purchasing' is evolving, with Indian consumers increasingly shifting towards accessible luxury. MG Select aims to position itself as a key player in this segment by offering an elevated brand experience to new-age customers who aspire for premium brands.'

The MG Select experience centres will aim to blend personalisation, hospitality, sustainability, and craftsmanship to offer a reimagined luxury experience. Over the next two years, the brand intends to expand its portfolio to include four premium products, with the first product launch scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.

The company is currently seeking dealer partners who align with the vision of MG Select to help bring this new venture to fruition.
