In a bid to redefine the driving experience, Suzuki has introduced the New Swift, featuring a revamped interior and cutting-edge safety technologies.
Interior Styling
The latest iteration of the Swift promises a spacious and comfortable cabin designed to enhance the overall driving experience. The cockpit is meticulously crafted for an immersive feel, with controls subtly angled towards the driver for ease of use. The dual-tone black and light-grey dashboard, adorned with satin plating and dark silver paint accents, contributes to the sporty and dynamic look of the cabin.
9-inch Display Audio
At the heart of the Swift's interior is a 9-inch HD capacitive touchscreen, ensuring a quick and accurate response. Boasting smartphone linkage for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through Wi-Fi and USB, the system provides voice recognition, Bluetooth music playback, and displays vital information about the vehicle's status.
Advanced Safety Features
The New Swift introduces a suite of advanced safety features, including the Dual Sensor Brake Support II (DSBS II). Employing millimetre-wave radar and a monocular camera, DSBS II detects vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians, issuing audio and visual warnings to alert the driver in case of potential collisions. The system also provides brake assist and, if needed, automatically applies brake force to mitigate impact.
Lane Keep Assist, Driver Monitoring, and More
The Lane Keep Assist (LKA) feature, activated alongside adaptive cruise control, helps the driver maintain the vehicle's position in the centre of the lane. The Driver Monitoring System (DMS) utilizes a built-in camera to monitor the driver's attentiveness, issuing warnings if signs of drowsiness or distraction are detected.
Other technological enhancements include Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and an eCall system.
