Suzuki, under 'Spectrum of Mobility,' showcased products promoting sustainable transport for India's diverse needs

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, marked a significant milestone today with the unveiling of three new mobility solutions at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Under the theme ‘Spectrum of Mobility’, Suzuki revealed products that further expand its commitment to sustainable transportation and cater to the diverse needs of the Indian market.

At the centre of the launch was Suzuki’s first electric scooter, the e-ACCESS, a bold step into electric mobility. Alongside this, Suzuki also introduced the all-new Access, reimagined with an updated urban design, efficient engine, and cutting-edge features to enhance daily commuting. Additionally, the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel, Suzuki’s first E-85 fuel-compliant motorcycle in India, was showcased, marking another stride towards carbon neutrality.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Toshihiro Suzuki, Representative Director and President of Suzuki Motor Corporation, emphasised the company’s dedication to carbon neutrality through a multi-pathway approach. He highlighted, 'While battery electric vehicles are pivotal, we are also focusing on alternative options such as E-Fuels, hydrogen engines, bio-fuel models, and improved fuel economy in internal combustion engines. The Indian market is vital for Suzuki, and we remain committed to delivering products that meet customer needs while contributing meaningfully to the environment.'

Mr. Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India, also spoke passionately about Suzuki's long-term vision. He stated, 'The Spectrum of Mobility theme reflects Suzuki’s approach to carbon neutrality. Our new products, including the e-ACCESS, GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel, and the improved Access, bring this vision to life. We aim to offer our customers superior satisfaction while contributing to the growth of a sustainable future.'

The e-ACCESS: Suzuki’s First Global Strategic Electric Scooter

The e-ACCESS marks Suzuki’s first foray into the electric two-wheeler market. With its Spot-on styling, performance, and reliability, this scooter promises a thrilling and practical ride. Powered by a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, the e-ACCESS offers enhanced safety and durability, making it a reliable option for daily use. Its performance stats include a top speed of 71 km/h, a power output of 4.1 kW, and a torque of 15 Nm, with a range of 95 km on a single charge.

The scooter is designed with three distinct drive modes: Eco, Ride A, and Ride B, with an additional reverse mode for ease of use. The e-ACCESS also features keyless entry, a multi-function starter switch, and an integrated colour TFT LCD screen for better connectivity. The scooter offers smartphone connectivity through the Suzuki Ride Connect-E App, providing real-time navigation and traffic updates. It will be available in three dual-tone colour options, with pricing to be announced closer to its launch.

The All-New Access: “Pickup Bhi, Mileage Bhi. Shandaar Quality Ke Sath”

The newly launched Access is designed for an enhanced commuting experience, featuring improved fuel economy and a smooth acceleration. The scooter is powered by a 125cc engine that complies with OBD-2B norms and integrates Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. With a peak power of 6.2 kW and maximum torque of 10.2 Nm, the Access ensures a smooth ride even with a passenger.

The Access boasts several design upgrades, including LED position lights, an external fuel lid, and increased storage space. Additionally, the scooter features a Bluetooth-enabled Multi-Function Digital Instrument Cluster, offering calendar alerts, rain alerts, and integration with the Suzuki Ride Connect app for features such as periodic vehicle service reminders and fuel consumption details. The Access will be available in three variants—Standard, Special, and Ride Connect Edition—starting at ₹81,700 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Suzuki GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel: Ethanol-Ready Mobility for Carbon Neutrality

Suzuki’s GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel is India’s first ethanol-compatible sports bike, designed to support Suzuki’s carbon neutrality goals. Powered by a 250cc BS-VI compliant engine, the motorcycle is compatible with ethanol-blended fuels, offering a power output of 20.5 kW on E85 fuel and 20 kW on E20 fuel. Its features include a European-inspired aerodynamic design, dual-channel ABS, and a Bluetooth-enabled digital console that integrates with the Suzuki Ride Connect app.

With its performance-oriented engine, the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel is designed for power and efficiency. The bike will be available in two colour options and is priced at ₹2,16,500 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Additional Highlights at the Suzuki Motorcycle India Pavilion

In addition to the product unveilings, Suzuki’s pavilion at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 also showcased the CN-Challenge GSX-R1000R, the race machine that participated in the prestigious Suzuka 8-hour Endurance Race. Other featured products included Suzuki’s lineup of big bikes such as the GSX-8R, V-Strom 800 DE, and the iconic Hayabusa, as well as the company’s OBD 2B compliant motorcycles and scooters like the Burgman and Avenis.

The pavilion also offered interactive experiences, including a Suzuki Hall of Fame and a special Hayabusa Zone for photo opportunities, along with a dedicated Kids Engagement Zone.

Through these dynamic product unveilings and interactive displays, Suzuki Motorcycle India showcased its unwavering commitment to leading the charge towards sustainable and advanced mobility solutions in India.
