Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) has unveiled the 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition of its flagship motorcycle, the Hayabusa, marking a significant milestone in its storied history. The 25th Anniversary Hayabusa is distinguished by its unique colour scheme of orange and black, complemented by distinctive gold-anodised components including the brake inner rotor and drive chain adjusters. Special V-shaped decals and a single-seat cowling, now standard, enhance its sporty profile, while the Hayabusa Kanji logo adds a touch of tradition to the modern setup.
Adding to its exclusivity, the motorcycle features a 25th-anniversary emblem and a three-dimensional 'SUZUKI' logo on the fuel tank, with elegant anniversary logos etched onto the muffler. These aesthetic enhancements not only underscore the Hayabusa's rich heritage but also its continued appeal as a flagship model.
Underneath its striking exterior, the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition retains the formidable 1340cc in-line 4-cylinder fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC engine known from the third-generation models. It is equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S), which includes traction control and a bi-directional quick shift system, ensuring that the bike remains as thrilling to ride as it is visually appealing.
Since its debut in 1998, the Suzuki Hayabusa has been synonymous with high performance and cutting-edge technology. Originally launched as the GSX1300R, the Hayabusa quickly became a global phenomenon, known for its overwhelming power and distinctive aerodynamic styling. Over the decades, Suzuki has continuously evolved the model, incorporating larger engines and advanced electronic controls to enhance both performance and rider experience.
Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India, commented on the launch, saying, 'The Suzuki Hayabusa has been an icon of speed, style, and innovation for more than 25 years. With the launch of the 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition, we commemorate this remarkable journey and reaffirm our commitment to delivering motorcycles that engage with riders around the world.'
