Battery swapping services provider SUN Mobility, and last-mile logistics company LetsTransport have come together to deploy 100 electric three-wheeler cargo vehicles across Delhi-NCR and Bangalore.
The partners plans to deploy over 2,000 electric vehicles for last-mile logistics within the next 12 to 18 months across seven major cities, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad, in addition to Delhi NCR and Bangalore. Also on cards are integrated solutions to e-commerce, FMCG, and Bluechip companies.
Anant Badjatya, CEO, SUN Mobility said, “Along with LetsTransport, our aim is to enable e-commerce, FMCG, Bluechip, and retail industries to access affordable and electric last-mile delivery services using electric two- & three-wheelers powered by our network of swapping stations.”
For LetsTransport, some of the areas of focus in the near future include financing of EVs, partnering with different CPOs and CSO as well as enabling a marketplace for the resale of EVs. Pushkar Singh, Co-founder & CEO, LetsTransport noted his company is working with SUN Mobility to jointly provide customisable solutions to its clients from the e-commerce, retail, FMCG, 3PL & other enterprise sectors.
