Industrial and mechatronic solutions provider, Stäubli, has inaugurated a 25,000 square feet facility in Bengaluru at an investment of $15 million.
Located in Yelahanka, it has divisions for electrical connectors, fluid connectors and robotics. The facility also houses a product showcase area, training rooms for customers and employees, a warehouse, and a service centre.
Gurupad Bhat, Managing Director, Stäubli Tec Systems India, said the unit would help the company collaborate closely with stakeholders to fast-track localisation efforts. It would also strengthen local engineering capabilities to increase the Stäubli footprint in India.
“We are dedicated to creating solutions that fit India's unique demands,” he added. According to Bhat, the country was poised to be the next growth engine for the Stäubli group which was targeting double-digit growth in its operations here.
