SpiceJet has announced the settlement of all outstanding issues with Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), a major lessor for the airline’s De Havilland Canada Q400 aircraft.

“The agreement settles all past liabilities for the Q400s leased by NAC to SpiceJet,” the airline said in a release.

SpiceJet also said it will return three repossessed De Havilland Canada Q400 Regional Transport Aircraft (RTA) to service. The induction of the three aircraft is part of its fleet revival and restoration programme.

Earlier in June, the company announced it would induct 10 more Boeing 737 aircraft on lease (including five 737 MAX aircraft) starting September 2023.
